Türkiye Investors Target Taraba Coffee and Tea Sectors

Türkiye investors are targeting Taraba's coffee and tea sectors after a high-level Made in Taraba Investors’ tour meeting at the Hilton Hotel in Istanbul, Türkiye. The delegation, led by Hon. Peter George, the immediate past Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Industry and currently Commissioner for Water Management and Aquatic Affairs, engaged with business executives and prospective investors.

At an investors’ breakfast meeting, participants tasted Taraba Coffee and Highland Tea while discussing the state's agricultural potential and market opportunities. Turkish partners proposed establishing a "TARABA COFFEE" flagship retail outlet in Istanbul, with plans for expansion into other cities in Türkiye and Europe.

The investors expressed interest in purchasing at least 1,500 tonnes of Taraba agricultural products quarterly, contingent on further discussions and quality verification. Hon. Justin Aondoaseer Tyopuusu, Special Adviser to the Governor on Digital Economy, stated that these engagements showcase the potential of Taraba products in international markets and aim to create sustainable business partnerships.
