FG to Launch Technology Innovation Hub in Taraba State

The federal government has announced its intention to establish a Technology innovation hub in Taraba State, aimed at providing opportunities for young Nigerians to acquire essential digital and technological skills. Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, made this announcement during a meeting with a delegation from the Taraba State Youth Development Agency (TSYDA), led by Prince Gara Nongha, at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Abuja.

The minister expressed his office's commitment to enhancing collaboration with the Taraba State government to support Governor Agbu Kefas's initiatives for youth development. The proposed technology hub is designed to enable young people to engage meaningfully in the emerging digital economy.

Additionally, Olawande urged the youth of Taraba to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election efforts to achieve the targeted goals for young Nigerians in the digital sector. Prince Gara Nongha, the TSYDA Chairman, noted that the hub would also facilitate innovation and business development opportunities for young Tarabans.
