Troops Arrest Drug Peddler, Seize 600 Cards of Tramadol

On March 27, at approximately 3:57 PM, troops from Sector 3 of the Safe Haven operation arrested a suspected drug peddler in Bali Local Government Area, Taraba State. During a routine stop-and-search operation along the Allah Yayi Daka road, the troops intercepted the suspect and discovered he was in possession of 600 cards of tramadol tablets.

The arrest was part of ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities in the area. Following the arrest, the recovered tramadol consignment was handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further investigation and prosecution.

This operation underscores the commitment of the military to combat drug trafficking and related crimes in Nigeria.
