Troops Arrest Suspects, Recover Motorcycles in Kogi

On April 15, 2026, at 6:00 AM, troops from the 12 Brigade, in coordination with local police and vigilantes, conducted a security operation in the Kabba Local Government Area of Kogi State. The operation was aimed at apprehending suspects involved in criminal activities.

Following intelligence reports, the troops raided a suspected hideout located in Kakuma, Ileteju, and Origa in the Ijumu community. During the operation, no direct contact was made with armed elements; however, two suspects were arrested in Kakuma.

Additionally, the troops recovered two motorcycles believed to be linked to criminal operations. In a related effort, another suspect was apprehended in Ijumu, where two chainsaw machines were also recovered.

The recovered items were handed over to the police for further investigation and necessary action.
