Troops Arrest Suspects, Recover Motorcycles in Kogi

On April 15, 2026, at 6:00 AM, troops from the 12 Brigade, in collaboration with local police and local vigilantes, executed a coordinated security operation in the Kabba Local Government Area of Kogi State. The operation targeted a hideout in Kakuma, Ileteju, and Origa in the Ijumu community, following intelligence on criminal activities in the area.

During the operation, no direct contact was made with armed elements; however, two suspects were arrested in Kakuma. Additionally, the troops recovered two motorcycles believed to be linked to criminal operations, as well as two chainsaws from another suspect apprehended in Ijumu.

The recovered items were handed over to the police for further investigation and necessary action.
