Troops Arrest Two Terrorist Informants in Ondo State

Troops from the 32 Brigade conducted an operation on May 25 in the forest area around Itagbolu, Iju, Igbogun, and Alagbun in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State. This operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals suspected of being informants for terrorist activities.

The military source indicated that this operation is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks and enhance security within the area. The arrested suspects were linked to terrorist activities and were apprehended during the operation, which was supported by the Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun.

Further investigations and necessary actions are expected to follow as part of the security measures in the region.
