Troops Capture Bandit Kingpin's Deputy and Wife in Gombe

In a significant intelligence-led operation in Gombe State, troops successfully captured Zulaha Bala, the wife of notorious bandit kingpin Kachalla Auta, along with his deputy, known as Bala, popularly referred to as Pakapaka. The operation was coordinated following sustained surveillance and tracking of the suspects, who were intercepted while attempting to flee from Dajin Madam Forest in Plateau State.

The captured individuals are currently in custody and are undergoing interrogation to determine their roles within Auta's criminal network and any possible links to other criminal cells operating within and outside the region. This operation highlights the ongoing efforts of security forces to dismantle banditry and criminal activities in Nigeria.
