Nigerian Troops Clear Terrorist Camps and Thwart Drone Attacks in Borno State

The Nigerian troops, part of the joint task force Hadin Kai, successfully cleared multiple Boko Haram and ISWAP camps in Borno State. They repelled coordinated drone attacks in the Timbuktu Triangle, resulting in the death of several terrorists while others fled.

Lt. Col. Sani Uba, the media information officer of the JTF, reported the recovery of arms, ammunition, and logistical materials during the intelligence-led operations in various enclaves. The operation, supported by air components, focused on real-time tracking of terrorist movements to enhance ground offensives.

Despite facing armed drone attacks, the troops maintained their momentum, forcing the insurgents to withdraw. The military remains resolute in its mission to eliminate the terrorist threat, protect civilians, and restore peace and stability in the North East region.
