Troops Disrupt IPOB/ESN Activities in Enugu Patrol

On March 31, troops from Sector 1, in collaboration with the 82 Division Garrison and the 103 Battalion Rear, conducted an offensive patrol in the Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State. The operation aimed to disrupt suspected activities of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

The patrol was initiated around the Ajali Forest following intelligence reports indicating militant movements in the area. Upon sighting the advancing troops, the suspected armed elements fled to avoid direct engagement.

The troops continued to dominate the general area and sustained their patrols to deny the suspected group any freedom of action.
