Troops Dislodge Suspected Terrorists in Zamfara State

On April 14 at 1:26 AM, troops from the 1 Brigade Counter Terror Unit dislodged suspected terrorists in the Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State. This operation was initiated following a distress call regarding suspicious terrorist activities in the Wank Community.

The troops, supported by the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) and local vigilantes, quickly mobilized to the area. Upon arrival, the suspected terrorists fled the scene, abandoning their operational post.

The security forces took control of the area to prevent further attacks and ensure the safety of local residents. The troops maintained a strong presence in the community to reassure locals and deter any potential return of the attackers.
