Troops Neutralize Two Terrorists in Zamfara Operation

Troops conducted an operation in Zamfara State, specifically in the Zurmi Local Government Area, where they neutralized two terrorists during a patrol. The operation occurred around 1:00 PM on May 27, responding to reports of terrorist activities in the vicinity of Maradun and Gidan Dan Jaja communities.

During the engagement, the troops made contact with the terrorists and overpowered them, resulting in an exchange of fire. The operation led to the recovery of two local fabric rifles and four motorcycles at the scene.

Additionally, the troops destroyed identified terrorist camps within the area as part of their operation.
