Troops Neutralize 10 Terrorists in Plateau Operation

On April 9, 2026, troops conducted a successful operation in the Plateau forest, neutralizing 10 terrorists and rescuing kidnap victims. The operation, led by Captain Polycarp Oteh, targeted a known criminal enclave in Dogo Ruwa, Bogwa, and was part of ongoing clearance efforts codenamed Operation Wutan Daji.

The troops established strategic block positions and engaged a large group of terrorists who were moving on motorcycles along known transit routes. Despite facing resistance, the troops overwhelmed the terrorists, leading to their retreat and the recovery of significant items, including three AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and logistical supplies.

Local residents, including Jamilu Musa and Garba Suleman, expressed relief at the operation's success, noting a reduction in terrorist activities and a return to normalcy in the community.
