Troops Eliminate Four Boko Haram Terrorists in Borno

On Friday, a statement from the Joint Task Force North East Operation Hadin Kai, attributed to Lt. Col.

Uba, reported that troops killed four terrorists affiliated with Boko Haram and ISWAP during a sustained counter-insurgency operation in Borno State. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to intensify counter-terrorism activities in the region.

The troops engaged the terrorists as they attempted to move towards the Sambisa Forest. The operation included collaborative efforts with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force and was conducted along key routes, including Damboa, Maiduguri, Gwoza, and Goniri.

The statement emphasized that the operation aimed to deny terrorists the freedom to move and operate in the area, and it also mentioned the arrest of suspected collaborators.
