Troops Neutralize Armed Robber in Kaduna Operation

On April 3, at approximately 3:00 AM, troops from Sector 7 responded to a distress call about armed robbery activities along the Mallagum–Kagoro road in Kaura Local Government Area, Kaduna State. Upon arrival at the scene, the troops made contact with the criminals, leading to a brief exchange of gunfire.

As a result of this engagement, one suspect was neutralized, while others managed to escape. Items recovered from the scene included local fabric, a firearm, a cutlass, a knife, and a mobile phone.

Following the incident, military authorities initiated a manhunt to track down the fleeing suspects and prevent further criminal activities along the axis.
