Troops Neutralize Boko Haram Terrorists in Adamawa

Troops from the 144 Battalion, operating under Sector 4, conducted an ambush operation in the Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, successfully neutralizing an unconfirmed number of Boko Haram terrorists. The operation was based on credible intelligence regarding logistics items allegedly dropped by the terrorists in the Hyambula area.

During the ambush, which occurred on May 10, the troops engaged in a firefight with the insurgents, forcing them to flee. Following the encounter, the troops discovered and recovered an AK-47 rifle, five magazines containing 35 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm ammunition, and various logistical supplies, including 38 packs of spaghetti, 10 liters of premium motor spirit, two cartons of Gramazol, one carton of Peak milk, 10 loaves of bread, 18 bottles of energy drink, and two motorcycle tubes.

This operation is part of a sustained effort to disrupt the logistics network of terrorists and maintain security in the region.
