Nigerian Army Neutralizes Three Terrorists in Zamfara

Troops from the Nigerian Army conducted a successful operation in Zamfara State, where they neutralized three terrorists during a patrol in the Birnin Magaji Local Government Area. The encounter occurred near Dumburum Village, where the troops established contact with the terrorists.

Following the engagement, the troops recovered a cache of weapons, including one AK-47 rifle, one SK-21 A1 machine gun, a locally fabricated handgun, and six AK-47 magazines. Additionally, they seized 123 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, 179 rounds of 12.7 x 108mm ammunition, and 269 rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition.

Importantly, there were no casualties reported among the troops during this operation, which took place on a Thursday as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria.
