Troops Repel Terrorist Attack in Plateau State Successfully

On March 26, at 1:30 AM, troops from Operation Enduring Peace successfully repelled an attack by suspected terrorists in the Pinau Community of Wase Local Government Area, Plateau State. The armed assailants attempted to strike the community, but the troops, in collaboration with local vigilante groups, engaged the attackers with superior firepower.

As a result of the encounter, the terrorists fled the scene, and no casualties were reported among the troops or the local population. Following the incident, the troops are currently conducting thorough exploitation of the area to ensure the safety of residents, as confirmed by security sources.
