Troops Rescue Six Kidnap Victims in Plateau State Operation

On Friday, troops from Sector 6 of Operation Enduring Peace responded to a distress call regarding a kidnapping incident that occurred early in the morning. The incident involved suspects intercepting a vehicle carrying passengers from Lafia, Nasarawa State, to Plateau State.

Captain Polycarp Oteh, an officer involved in the operation, confirmed that the troops successfully rescued six victims from the kidnapping. Following the rescue, the troops discovered an abandoned ash-colored Honda vehicle on the roadside, which was linked to the incident.

Efforts are currently ongoing to locate a missing driver associated with the vehicle. The troops have mobilized swiftly to ensure the situation remains under control and to continue their search and rescue operations.
