Trump Orders Probe into Deaths of US Scientists

President Donald Trump has ordered a federal investigation into the deaths and disappearances of at least 10 American scientists involved in sensitive aerospace defense research related to unexplained aerial phenomena. This directive was confirmed by officials earlier in the week, with cases dating back to mid-2023.

The investigation will be conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and relevant agencies to explore potential connections among these serious incidents. Trump expressed hope that the investigation would uncover a concerning pattern, as noted by House Oversight Committee member Eric Burlison, who described the incidents as coincidental and called for a comprehensive investigation.

The cases include the disappearance of Michael David Hick, a physicist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in July 2023, and a Massachusetts-based nuclear physicist who vanished while working for a research contractor linked to the Los Alamos National Laboratory. The White House Press Secretary, Karolin Leavitt, stated that the administration would conduct a holistic review of the reported incidents and provide updates on the investigation's progress.
