TS Academy Hosts 1,000+ Tech Students in Port Harcourt

TS Academy organized the TS Connect event in Port Harcourt, bringing together over 1,000 tech students and alumni from Rivers State and neighboring areas. The event, which has evolved from its inaugural edition in Lagos that attracted over 2,000 attendees, now spans multiple cities, including Abuja and Ibadan, with more than 5,000 participants across various editions.

Opaniyan, the Head of Brand & Communications at TS Academy, stated that the expansion reflects the growth of the academy's online student community. The Port Harcourt edition was designed as an interactive social event, featuring games, networking opportunities, and community-building activities.

Attendees received event tags, stickers, and TS Connect Cash to use at food vendors. A raffle offered chances to win smartphones and laptops, with two additional laptops awarded through the Laptop Scholarship Programme.

Attendees also engaged in discussions about coursework and career progress, further fostering relationships beyond their virtual classrooms.
