MTN Nigeria Engages Students on Career Opportunities

MTN Nigeria recently organized a career engagement session for undergraduates from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH). The event aimed to expose students to various career opportunities in fields such as cybersecurity, finance, internal audit, and forensic investigations.
Ibe Kalu Etea, the Chief Internal Audit and Forensic Services Officer, was represented by Wasiu Ibrahim, the General Manager of Internal Audit and Forensics. During the session, Etea encouraged students to remain open to career opportunities beyond their academic backgrounds and to focus on developing transferable skills.
He stated, “Students can take any career path they want to. You can upskill and transition into a different career, even if it is not what you studied in school.” The session included an interactive question-and-answer segment, where students sought guidance on career development, workplace expectations, and professional growth.
