Tunji-Ojo Supports Ladies Golf Association in Abuja

On Tuesday, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, received a delegation from the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria at the ministry's headquarters in Abuja. During the meeting, he reaffirmed the federal government's commitment to partnering with the association to promote national unity and enhance social development through sports.

Tunji-Ojo highlighted the significance of sports as a powerful tool for discipline, leadership, and national cohesion. He praised the association for its role in advancing women's golf in Nigeria and encouraged its members to continue serving as ambassadors for the country.

The minister also discussed ongoing reforms within the ministry, including improvements in passport administration and the deployment of modern e-gate systems at international airports, aimed at enhancing service delivery and restoring public confidence in the ministry. Lami Onayi Ahm, the association's president, expressed gratitude for the minister's audience and outlined the association's history and dedication to expanding women's participation in golf.
