PDP Faction Condemns Police for Unsealing Secretariat

The Tanimu Turaki-led faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) criticized the Nigeria Police Force for unsealing the party's national secretariat located at Wadata Plaza in Abuja. This action, which occurred on November 18, was described by the faction as a violation of due process and an example of partisan interference.

The faction, which includes support from Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, plans to take legal action to contest this development. The police's actions were characterized as shameful and politically motivated, particularly as they were perceived to support the rival faction led by Abdulrahman Mohammed, which aligns with Nyesom Wike.

The Turaki faction expressed confidence that the matter would be resolved in their favor and urged members to maintain peace while they pursue legal avenues to protect their rights.
