Trabzonspor in Talks to Sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool

Mohamed Salah is currently engaged in transfer negotiations with Turkish club Trabzonspor, which announced that he is expected to arrive at Istanbul Ataturk Airport at 12:00 on Wednesday, August 5. Following his arrival, Salah will travel to Trabzon later that evening.

Salah, who left Liverpool after a successful nine-year tenure, where he scored 257 goals in 442 appearances and won the Champions League and two Premier League titles, had a less prolific last season, netting only seven league goals. He is recognized as one of the most successful African players, having scored 66 goals in 119 international appearances for Egypt.

Trabzonspor finished third in the Turkish Super Lig last season, qualifying for the Europa League play-off round, and had also shown interest in Salah's potential transfer. Salah had been linked with another Turkish club, Besiktas, prior to this negotiation.
