Salah Joins Trabzonspor to Team Up with Onuachu

Mohamed Salah, the 34-year-old former Liverpool player, has landed in Turkey to join Trabzonspor after his contract with Liverpool expired, ending a nine-year tenure during which he scored 257 goals. Salah was welcomed by hundreds of fans at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul.

Although there were rumors of a potential move to Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor secured Salah's signing ahead of the new season. He will partner with Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu, who recently made history by becoming the first Trabzonspor player in 14 years to score in eight consecutive league matches and shared the top scorer award with Eldor Shomurodov, netting 22 goals.

With Salah's addition, Trabzonspor aims to challenge Galatasaray, led by Victor Osimhen, for the league title, seeking to end a four-year title drought after finishing third last season, eight points behind the champions.
