Adamawa State Commissioners Resign Ahead of Elections

On Wednesday, during a meeting of the Adamawa State Executive Council held at the Government House in Yola, two commissioners, Felix Tangwami (Commissioner for Health and Human Services) and Tijjani Maksha (Commissioner for Livestock and Aquaculture Development), announced their resignations from the Adamawa State Government. The resignations, effective immediately, were confirmed by Jame Iliya, who stated that the decision was made to allow the commissioners to pursue political ambitions in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
