UAE Waives Visa Fee for Indian Travellers to Abu Dhabi

The UAE's Department of Culture and Tourism has collaborated with travel platform MakeMyTrip to waive the AED 285 entry visa fee for eligible Indian travellers who book hotel stays of at least three nights in Abu Dhabi. This initiative is aimed at encouraging longer stays and is applicable for travel until October 31, 2026.

To qualify, travellers must meet specific eligibility requirements and complete their bookings through MakeMyTrip. The visa fee coverage does not extend to other government charges or travel costs such as flights, meals, or insurance.

Raj Rishi Singh, COO for Corporate, Flights, GCC and Marketing at MakeMyTrip, stated that this partnership aims to provide greater value to Indian travellers. The UAE has been focusing on attracting more visitors from India, which has become a significant tourism source market.
