Uba Sani Urges Pharmacists to Combat Quackery in Kaduna

During the 70th birthday celebration of Professor Ahm Tijjani Mora, a distinguished pharmacist, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State called on pharmacists to work towards eliminating quacks from the profession. The event took place at a hotel in Kaduna, where Sani, represented by his Principal Private Secretary, Bello Ayuba, stressed the necessity of monitoring the health sector to enhance overall healthcare delivery.

He described Professor Mora as a significant figure in pharmacy whose contributions will be remembered. Governor Sani also highlighted his administration's achievements, including the upgrade of 255 primary healthcare centers to level 2 status and the establishment of a 300-bed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital.

He noted the improvement of secondary healthcare with the upgrade of 15 general hospitals and the implementation of salary scales for health workers. Additionally, Sani mentioned the construction of 62 new science secondary schools and efforts to restore peace among communities in Kaduna State.
