Uba Sani Resolves Land Dispute, Supports Kaduna Communities

Governor Uba Sani addressed a 10-year land dispute affecting communities in Igabi local government, where over 5,000 residents faced displacement due to land seizures involving the military. During a ceremony at Birnin Yero Tsohuwa Primary School, he distributed land titles to communities including Unguwan Malam Auta, Unguwan Alhassan, and others, ensuring that no community would be rendered homeless.
Although the dispute remains in court, Sani directed Dr Bashir Ibrahim Garba, the Director General of Kaduna State Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), to allocate plots and farmland to the affected residents. He also promised five trucks of free fertiliser and social interventions to support vulnerable individuals and those who lost their livelihoods.
Sani praised the communities for their unity amidst ethno-religious differences and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to human dignity and decent shelter for all.
