Burley Predicts Real Madrid Won't Win Champions League

Craig Burley, a former Chelsea player, expressed his belief that Real Madrid will not win the UEFA Champions League this season. Speaking on ESPN FC, Burley noted that he sees nothing in the Spanish team's performance that suggests they can compete effectively in Europe.

He highlighted that Real Madrid players become anxious when under pressure, particularly from fans, which could hinder their performance. Burley mentioned that while Real Madrid may compete for the La Liga title, he does not foresee them succeeding in European competitions.

He pointed out that teams like Bayern Munich, PSG, Arsenal, and Barcelona have advantages over Real Madrid, especially when facing stronger opponents. Burley emphasized that Real Madrid's upcoming matches against Manchester City and Sport Lisboa e Benfica in the next round could lead to tough results, as he believes they are not playing at their best and have lost crucial chances in previous games.
