Peter Obi Advocates for Banking Reform in Nigeria

Peter Obi, a member of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, remarked that banks in the UK granted him loans based on his educational background rather than requiring collateral. He made this statement during the Spier Dialogue in Cape Town, South Africa, on a Friday.

Obi noted that UK banks provided him with loans without asking for his parents' properties, highlighting a significant difference in lending practices compared to Nigeria, where such opportunities are not available.
