UK Rapper Ghetts Charged in Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident

UK grime rapper Ghetts, real name Justin Clark Samuel, has been charged by the Metropolitan Police for a fatal hit-and-run incident in East London. The 41-year-old allegedly failed to stop after hitting a 20-year-old man in Ilford, who later died in the hospital.

Ghetts appeared in court and is expected to face upgraded charges for causing death by dangerous driving. Known for his work in the UK grime scene and collaborations with artists like Ed Sheeran and Stormzy, Ghetts received the MOBO Pioneer Award last year for his contributions to British black culture.
