Ajayi Labels Peter Obi Delusional Over Election Claims

Temitope Ajayi, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Bola Tinubu, responded to Peter Obi's claims regarding the 2023 presidential election, where Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, asserted he won the election despite finishing third. In an interview with BBC Africa, Obi reiterated his belief that the election was rigged.

Ajayi characterized Obi's insistence on winning the election, nearly four years later, as "unfathomable delusion." He highlighted that Obi has now admitted to lacking evidence to substantiate his claim while still maintaining his position that he won the election. Ajayi's comments were made in a post on 𝕏, where he expressed disbelief at Obi's continued assertions despite the lack of supporting evidence.
