Shaibu Inspects UNIBEN Admission Process, Praises Staff

On Thursday, Philip Shaibu, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Sports, visited the University of Benin (UNIBEN) to inspect the ongoing admission registration exercise for prospective students. He expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the admission process and commended the Vice Chancellor of UNIBEN for providing the necessary facilities to support a successful academic session.

Shaibu urged tertiary institutions across the country to emulate UNIBEN's commitment to educational excellence. He praised the South-South Zonal Office Coordinator, Dr. Rashe Oyakhir, and the staff for their efficient dedication in ensuring a swift registration and screening of prospective students within the stipulated timeframe.

Additionally, Shaibu encouraged unlicensed coaches nationwide to enroll in the National Institute for Sports certification program to acquire the required knowledge and professional certification needed to excel in the sports industry. He emphasized the institute's commitment to making sports education accessible to everyone, regardless of their educational background.
