Manchester United Eyes Wilfred Ndidi in Swap Deal

Manchester United has revived its interest in Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as part of a potential swap deal ahead of the summer transfer window. Earlier this year, United made an approach for Ndidi, who is the captain of the Super Eagles, during the January transfer window, but Leicester City turned down the offer to avoid losing a key player mid-season.

Reports from Turkish outlet Fanatik indicate that United's interest in Ndidi has not waned, and they are closely monitoring his situation as the season concludes. Ndidi joined Leicester City from Besiktas for around £8 million and has since become a central figure in the squad, serving as vice-captain and making 220 Premier League appearances, contributing seven goals and 14 assists.

The potential deal may involve Besiktas goalkeeper Altai Bayindir, as the Turkish side is looking to strengthen their goalkeeping options. Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin is reportedly keen on Bayindir, which could facilitate the swap involving Ndidi.
