Alia Advocates Unity and Prayer for Benue's Growth

Hyacinth Alia, the Governor of Benue State, highlighted the significance of unity and prayers in achieving peace and socio-economic development during an Iftar event at the new banquet hall of the Government House in Makurdi. He described the occasion as a spiritually significant moment that symbolizes unity and interfaith harmony, particularly during the Ramadan season.

Alia acknowledged the challenges faced by his administration, particularly concerning insecurity and banditry, and reaffirmed his commitment to proactively addressing these issues. He called on citizens to support security agencies and embrace values of love and mutual respect.

Alia urged the people of Benue to work together to transform the state into a competitive investment destination, emphasizing that collective aspirations outweigh divisive tendencies. His spokesman, Tersoo Kula, reiterated the governor's invitation for citizens to join hands for the betterment of Benue State.
