Verydarkman Responds to Alleged Tinubu Voice Note

Verydarkman, a social media critic, addressed the controversy surrounding an alleged voice note of President Bola Tinubu that purportedly urged opposition politician Peter Obi to step down. In his response, Verydarkman expressed anger over the situation and dismissed the allegations as unfounded.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President, condemned the audio file on Wednesday morning, labeling it a complete fabrication and announcing plans for legal action against Verydarkman for spreading what he termed a fake audio. Onanuga emphasized that the voice note is an egregious abuse of social media platforms.

The alleged voice note, which has gone viral, reportedly features an AI-generated voice resembling President Tinubu's and calls for Obi to step down. The political context includes Tinubu's recent victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, where he secured 10,999,162 votes against challenger Stanley Osifo, who received 16,503 votes, while Peter Obi finished third.
