Carter Efe Accuses VDM of Disrupting Igbo Businesses

Nigerian streamer Carter Efe accused VeryDarkMan (VDM) of attempting to "spoil Igbo people’s business" due to VDM's plan to source iPhone 18 devices directly from China. During a livestream on Friday, Efe expressed skepticism about VDM's decision to enter the phone sales market, noting that VDM was not previously known for selling phones.

Efe remarked, “VDM no dey sell phone o but enter China, he wan go buy phone dey sell. He wan spoil people business.” He further questioned VDM's intentions, asking, “VDM, I never see that kind person before, you be witch?” VDM had previously shared a video from an Apple Store in China, indicating his readiness to assist Nigerians in purchasing the iPhone 18 directly, thereby avoiding inflated prices from local vendors.
