VG Pensions Hosts 2026 Retiree Forum in Kaduna

Veritas Glanvills Pensions Limited (VG Pensions) hosted its 2026 Annual Northwest Retiree Forum on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the National Ear Care Centre in Kaduna. The event gathered retirees from the North West region whose pension funds are managed by VG Pensions.

It facilitated discussions on various topics, including life in retirement, pension administration, and retirees' overall wellbeing. A significant aspect of the forum was the provision of free medical services, highlighting VG Pensions' recognition of the importance of health in retirement.

Mr. Abdallah Fika, Head of Business Development (North), reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting retirees beyond their working years. Mr. Jimkelly Ekomaye, Head of Benefits Administration, provided insights on accessing Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) and factors affecting pension payments.

He also introduced PenCare, a healthcare initiative by the National Pension Commission aimed at improving medical service access for retirees. The forum allowed retirees to engage, ask questions, and share experiences regarding their pension benefits.
