Victor Oladipo Seeks NBA Comeback After Injuries

Victor Oladipo has made an emotional appeal to NBA general managers to revive his career, which has been severely impacted by knee injuries since April 2023. He last played in an NBA game on April 19, 2023, during Miami Heat's Game 3, where he sustained a patellar tendon injury on his left knee.

A two-time NBA All-Star and the second overall pick in the 2013 draft, Oladipo has faced multiple injury setbacks, including a ruptured right quadriceps on April 10, 2019, and has not played more than 42 games in a season since. Despite these challenges, the 34-year-old believes he can still perform at a high level, evidenced by his G League performance with the Wisconsin Herd, where he averaged 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 26 games.

In July, he held an exhibition session in Las Vegas, attended by NBA front-office personnel, and expressed confidence in his fitness, stating, “I think my body is finally right. I think there’s big and even better, competitive basketball left to be played.”.
