Arsenal Warned About Financial Demands for Osimhen

Kieran Davies, a digital journalist at The Sun, warned Arsenal against pursuing Victor Osimhen, currently playing for Galatasaray, due to the high financial demands involved. Osimhen earns approximately £326,000 per week in Turkey, translating to about N0.6 billion in Nigerian currency.

His contract includes an annual salary of €15 million, a net loyalty bonus of €1 million per season, and €5 million per year in image rights. Arsenal's top earner reportedly makes £300,000 per week, which is £26,000 less than Osimhen's current wage.

Reports indicate that Arsenal is aware of this financial gap and that Osimhen would need to accept a significant pay cut for a transfer to occur before the September 1 deadline. Arsenal is seeking a marquee centre-forward after winning the Premier League title last season and has identified Osimhen and Atlético Madrid's Julián Alvarez as potential targets.
