Asian Man Recounts Police Extortion, N150,000 Recovered in Lagos

An Asian man shared a video online detailing how a police officer allegedly extorted N150,000 from him in Lagos. The incident occurred in Ikeja, where the officer stopped the man's Uber, demanded money, and threatened him.

Despite explaining his legal status, the officer forced the man to transfer the money. The victim sought help from the Police Complaint Response Unit, providing evidence of the extortion.

The unit intervened, leading to the recovery of the extorted amount and the man's passport. The man expressed gratitude for the unit's assistance.
