IGP Olatunji Disu Reflects on Early Career in Ogun Visit

Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu visited the Ago-Iwoye Police Division in Ogun State, where he served as Divisional Police Officer decades ago. This visit was shared on Saturday by Force Public Relations Officer CSP Ani Iniedu on X.

Disu reflected on his early days in the Nigeria Police Force, stating, “From Ago Iwoye to Force HQ. From DPO to IGP.” He described the return as an emotional experience, recalling it as the place where he developed his leadership skills.

Disu revisited his old office and the surrounding area, reminiscing about local figures such as an old woman who sold goods near the station. He posed a reflective question, “Can you visit where you worked before?” emphasizing the importance of remembering one’s beginnings and the journey of growth in one’s career.
