Enenche Declares Christianity Not Subordinate to Any Religion

During a Sunday service at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre headquarters in Abuja, Senior Pastor Paul Enenche declared that Christianity is not subordinate to any religion in Nigeria. This statement was made in response to comments from Islamic cleric Sheikh Yahya Jingir, who supported the continuation of a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Enenche condemned Jingir's remarks, asserting that Christianity is not secondary to any other religion and criticized those making divisive statements that could exacerbate religious tensions. He emphasized the significant presence of Christians across Nigeria and warned against underestimating the Christian community's influence.

Enenche called for responsible actions from religious and political leaders and urged security agencies to monitor incendiary comments that could threaten national peace and stability. His sermon included a direct rebuke to those promoting such views, highlighting the need for unity and respect among different religious groups.
