Ilawe-Ekiti Resident Reports Peaceful Governorship Election

During an interview on Saturday, Ojo Adewusi, a 52-year-old physically challenged resident of Ilawe-Ekiti, described the ongoing governorship election as peaceful and orderly. He noted that the electoral process was conducted in a calm atmosphere, with no reports of violence or disruption.

Adewusi emphasized that voters in the community conducted themselves peacefully while exercising their civic responsibilities. He expressed hope that the peaceful conduct of the election would be sustained until the announcement of the results.

The election is being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission across the 16 local government areas of Ekiti State, where residents are electing a governor for the next four years.
