NDLEA Seizes Cocaine Hidden in Phone Chargers for Saudi Arabia

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) announced the interception of a consignment of cocaine concealed within phone chargers that were being trafficked to Saudi Arabia. Femi Babafemi, the agency's spokesperson, shared this information in a post on X on Sunday.

He cautioned that traffickers are increasingly using ordinary items to avoid detection. Babafemi emphasized that despite the appearance of the items as regular phone chargers, NDLEA operatives were not misled, as they discovered the concealed cocaine within.

He reiterated the agency's warnings to the public against assisting in the delivery of parcels or luggage for others without proper verification, highlighting the desperation of traffickers. This incident serves as a reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement in combating drug trafficking.
