Uzamaka, a Nigerian woman serving in the United States Army, has made a heartfelt appeal to President Donald Trump to assist her in reuniting with her 10-year-old daughter, who is critically ill and unable to join her in the US due to visa restrictions. In a TikTok video, Uzamaka expressed her fears of losing her daughter, stating they have been separated for approximately 10 years.

She has completed the necessary immigration process, but her daughter’s health has deteriorated while awaiting approval. Uzamaka emphasized her commitment to serving the US and requested that her case be considered on humanitarian grounds.

She has contacted her commander and US Senator Amy Klobuchar for assistance, but was informed that the immigration process is ongoing. Uzamaka also reached out to media organizations like Fox News and CNN to raise awareness about her situation.

She voiced her concerns about the disparity in healthcare access between the US and Nigeria, pleading for an exception to immigration policies for her family.
