The embassy emphasized the importance of verifying information to avoid misinformation, stating, “Beware of misinformation.

Save yourself the hassle & just ask us directly.” It encouraged Nigerians to share claims made by visa agents so that the embassy could address them publicly. The embassy reiterated that it has no official links with intermediaries and that relevant visa application information is available on its official website.

By doing so, applicants can avoid unnecessary costs and confusion associated with third-party claims.
