PDP Appoints Kabiru Tanimu Turaki as Interim Chair

The People's Democratic Party (PDP), led by Adolphus Wabara, appointed Kabiru Tanimu Turaki as the interim chair after a court ruling deemed the previous leadership null and void. This decision was announced during a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) held in Abuja.

Wabara stated that the assembly's outcomes lacked constitutional basis and were not legally binding. Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde expressed determination to reclaim control of the party, emphasizing the need for a united front against challenges.
