Cameroon Prepares for WAFCON Clash with Super Falcons
Colette Ndzana, a defender for the Cameroon national women's football team, has stated the team's readiness for their quarter-final match against Nigeria's Super Falcons in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. The match is scheduled to take place tonight at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
This encounter marks the 14th meeting between the two teams in WAFCON history, with Nigeria having a dominant record of nine wins in open play and two victories on penalties, while Cameroon has one win and one draw. The last clash between the teams occurred during the quarter-finals of the 2022 edition, where Nigeria won 1-0.
Ndzana emphasized the team's focus and humility as they aim to break their poor record against the Super Falcons, stating, “We want to break any existing barriers.”.
